Stony Brook girls basketball falls to Minnesota Golden Bees

The Stony Brook Seawolves women’s basketball team fell to the Minnesota Golden Gophers 67-54 on Sunday. Despite a strong performance from the Seawolves’ bench, they were unable to overcome a strong performance by the Golden Gophers late in the game.

Stony Brook had three players score in double figures, including Victoria Keenan with 16 points.
The Seawolves limited Minnesota to 39.7 percent shooting from the field.
Minnesota led by as many as 18 points in the third quarter, but Stony Brook rallied to tie the game at 44-44.
The Golden Gophers went on a 23-10 run in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

The Seawolves will return home on Dec. 2 to face Buffalo.
